Spiritual Retreat in the nature & culture
Description:
Escape the noise of modern life and journey into Mongolia’s pristine Tunkhel Valley under the eternal blue sky for a five-day spiritual retreat unlike anything available in Central Asia. Combining ancient Mongolian healing traditions, Sri Sri Sudarshan Kriya yoga, pranic energy healing, sacred fire rituals, and total immersion in nomadic culture, this retreat is designed for those who are genuinely ready to reset — body, mind, and spirit.
You will practise yoga each morning against a backdrop of wild mountain rivers, sleep under the Milky Way in a traditional felt ger, walk for a full day through sacred forest, and receive one-on-one healing from a trained pranic healer. A rare Mongolian shaman ritual on Day 3 brings the inner work to its most powerful point. No alcohol, no distractions — only mountains, clean air, a like-minded community, and the timeless wisdom of the steppe.

Healing witj Nature- 20 kms Forest Pilgrimage
Immerse yourself completely in Mongolia's untouched wilderness. Today's 30 km guided pilgrimage deep into pristine mountain forest is a walking meditation through landscapes unchanged for centuries — one of the most restorative experiences this retreat offers.
In the quiet mountain landscapes of Mongolia, wildflowers bloom in vibrant colors across open valleys and gentle hills, creating a peaceful and inspiring natural setting. Surrounded by fresh air, soft winds, and the sounds of nature, these untouched areas offer the perfect environment for meditation and inner calm. Sitting among the flowers, with wide skies above and silence all around, allows visitors to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and experience a deep sense of balance and harmony with nature.
07:00 Sunrise yoga outdoors, facing the rising sun as it clears the Khan Khentii peaks across the Tunkhel Valley.
08:00 – 09:00 Nourishing vegetarian breakfast.
09:30 – 17:30 30 km pilgrimage into the sacred forest — guided tree meditation connecting you with old-growth birch and pine, bathing in mineral-rich natural spring waters considered holy by local communities, and silent communion with one of Mongolia's most spiritually charged wild landscapes.
18:30 – 19:30 Vegetarian dinner and a shared group circle to process the day's experiences.
A deeply restorative day that combines expert-led generational healing, the ancient power of Mongolian musical sound therapy, personal pranic healing, and a rare shaman ritual that is among the most extraordinary experiences available to visitors anywhere in Mongolia.
07:00 Morning breathing session and Sri Sri Sudarshan Kriya yoga practice.
09:30 – 11:30 Generational healing meditation — a guided practice designed to bring awareness to, and begin healing, emotional patterns inherited through family lineage.

18:00 – 19:00 Vegetarian dinner.
20:00 – 22:00 Mongolian shaman ritual — an authentic ceremony led by a genuine practitioner, calling on ancestral spirits for healing, protection, and blessing. A rare and profoundly moving experience.

Day 4 — Live Like a Nomad — Full Day on the Open Steppe
Spend a full day living as Mongolian nomads have lived for thousands of years — on the open steppe, with a real nomadic family, far from any tourist infrastructure. This is the most grounding and joyful day of the retreat.
Morning Arrive at the nomadic family's camp. Set up your own mini ger, understanding the elegant engineering of this felt tent that has sheltered families through Mongolia's extreme seasons for millennia.
Mid-morning Help milk the family's cows and learn to make fresh Mongolian dairy products — airag, aaruul, and fresh yoghurt — the foundations of the nomadic diet.
Late morning Horse riding across the open steppe. Your guide shares the deep spiritual bond between Mongolians and their horses as you ride together through vast grasslands.
Midday Cook your own meal over an open fire using traditional Mongolian techniques — fresh ingredients, cast iron, and the open flame.
Afternoon Learn shagai — the traditional Mongolian ankle bone shooting game played on these plains for centuries. Your hosts, who have mastered the game since childhood, teach you and challenge you to compete.
Night Sleep under a sky blazing with stars. No light pollution, no noise — testimonials about personal inner work and gratitude under the vast silence of the Mongolian steppe and the full Milky Way directly above.
Day 5 — Sacred Blessing & Heartfelt Farewell
A gentle, meaningful final morning before returning to Ulaanbaatar — transformed, restored, and carrying the peace of the Mongolian steppe with you wherever you go next.
Morning Offer fresh warm milk to the first rays of the rising sun — an ancient Mongolian blessing ritual for good fortune and safe travels. Return to Tunkhel Guest House.
10.00-11.00 Certificates of completion presented to every participant and testimonials about a inner work and growth.
11.30 Transfer to Tunkh train station. Board the train back to Ulaanbaatar, arriving at 15.35
